Just like in Games like MC:LA. You cannot do that in GT5.

Once again, Chrisco takes the words out of my mouth The only time its of use is if/when you are stopped and want to view the car.

tommo47 said: its a friggin racing game though. if youre on a track and you stop to look around at your car, you miss the point. as far as we know, there is no free roaming, so why would anybody be stopping and looking around? and if you care to see them from 360 degrees, go into the showroom! the cars rotate 360 degrees in a showroom.
dingoboy said: I reckon racing games these days shoud be more realistic, i mean how about being able to smoke a durry while driving or opening the window and feeling the breeze? its just ridiculous
chrisco84 said: @ Chuz, im all for what you mean a little tilt to the side for a better veiw while driving. Thats sweet. American10 wants to be able to come to a complete stop and be able to rotate the camera 360 around the car to admire all the damage he has done to every panel after he has done a lap full accelator without using the brake and sideswiping every wall and rail.

American10 said: Seems as if none of you have played MC:LA or Motorstorm 1 and 2 to understand what I am trying to convey. It has nothing to do with realism, just a preference and yes, I want to stop and look at my car and view all the damage I have done to it or just admire it. I don't see why that is even a problem, not all of us sit there like super nerds and focus on winning.
