I know it's still just over a month away but it is certainly approaching fast. MMGN will be there in the form of @Ben (100% locked in) and myself (still waiting on a few things to be confirmed).

The Sony E3 Press Conference will take place on June 4th at 6pm PST.

Australia time: June 5, 11am AEST.

What are you hoping to see from Sony?

I want some first-party Vita titles (GoW, Resistance, Killzone, and, fingers-crossed, Infamous) to be showcased.

As for PS3, I'd love another GoW, but I'd be happy with some third-party games showcased on the console (I'd love to see Rainbow Six: Patriots).

I'm not sure I like our chances of a new GoW title to add to the series for Vita, but HD re-releases of the series' back catalogue with maybe a few tweaks and trophy support would make me a happy man..

Failing that, I'm definitely looking forward to Resistance..

Are you guys gonna report better from the show this time around?

I see you guys had fun last year but nothing really came from it bar some short, boring vids of you guys making a few comments.

I wanna see pics, exclusive stuff, vids of you guys trying out new titles. Make the most of it this time, last year was lame.

I TOTALLY agree. Believe me I do LOL.

We kind of went in blind last year, not really knowing how to cover it.

Few things I've realised:

1. It is LITERALLY the biggest video game convention in the world. It's simply too big to truly comprehend if you haven't been there.

2. There is no point trying to cover EVERYTHING unless you have like 20 people with you.

3. There is no point trying to be IGN.

I'll actually be honest in that we didn't have as MUCH fun as we could have. I think that at a thing like that you need to have fun and just be natural, and the content will benefit from that. Otherwise you end up with dry, rushed content, which is what we did last year.

Few things I have planned:

- Small doco. Just basically video and record as much as possible about HOW E3 takes place. I know a lot of people are interested in this. What do you do BEFORE the press conference? What happens at the parties? How long are the lines? What's the floor ACTUALLY look like?

- As many friggin' photos as possible.

- Previews of only the BIGGEST games, maybe 5-10. Pick and choose, but probably best considering there is only two of us.

Last year we would see something, rush to the media center to write a preview, and then go and see another game. That equated to shit coverage imo.

Trust me mate. I hear you and agree with you.

Definitely keen to just play it by ear, have fun and create fun content. Because it's a friggin' convention about VIDEO. GAMES.

But I am very keen on creating kind of a "behind-the-scenes" thing about E3.

This is my prediction/wishlist :P

*More First party Exclusives/New IPs for the PS3
*New IPs for the VIta (I don't want just games that already exist on the ps3, but then again I wouldn't mind it.)
*PS4 Tease? just a little tech demo to show what we can expect for the next-generation of consoles. Nintendo will be showing Wii U, both Sony and Microsoft need something BIG to compete with Nintendo.
*Possibly a price cut for the PS3. 320gb down to $299, 160gb down to $249. I think.
*Third Party Support. Exclusives from them or maybe more DLC plans.

As for games:

*The Last of Us gameplay
*Final Fantasy Versus 13 trailer/gameplay/Release date
*Any word on Agent? (Rockstar's PS3 exclusive)
*GTA5 trailer/gameplay at Sony's Conference
*Quantic Dreams' new project (Heavy Rain developer)
*Syphon Filter 4
*Sony's rumoured Copycat Super Smash Brothers Brawl game
*God of War 4
*One of Hideo Kojima's latest projects. But I doubt it.

Defo keen to see a doco on the event, give us a glimpse of the madness that is E3.

News featuring pics you guys have taken, same with articles and some vids of say you testing out a game with @ben over your shoulder with the camera. I really want the MMGN E3 experience this year guys! I'm loving the ideas, I don't expect IGN but I don't come here for that.
So while you and @ben are at E3 will you be passing on the pics, news, vids etc over to guys back home like @heller to do the write ups? I guess you'd be run off your feet with the event to be also updating the site?

E3's in early June this year? ****, I had no idea it was that close, thought it was alot later in the month, boy, time sure does fly by quick.

But anyway, I'm hoping Sony do the same as Nintendo did and announce a stackload of new titles for the Vita, as much as I love the system there's about 5 (maximum) releases coming out in the next year to look forward to. They need to pump out a few exclusives and show the Handheld does have some good titles/exclusives for people to jump in, and buy one.
