Yeah compared to Sims 3 on PC where we were given abit more info leading up to launch.

Maybe it won't come out on the expected time. :O

Well I hope that you can:

-Build a 4 story house with the same building UI and options as the PC version
-Optional story line to play
-Online interaction with friends
-Ability to have pets
-Future DLC packs and expansions to keep supporting the title
-Similar flow of gameplay like the PC version where you can alter the whole town.

It needs cheats too like the PC version if I cbf waiting for my guy to eat I just move his hunger bar to full.

I just want full customisability with houses and people. I hated this about the PSP versions, I remember on the sims 2 pets on ps2 I think that you could build a house but I cant remember

Yeah pretty sure on Sims Busting out on PS2 had a pretty good deal for customising things so we really should be expecting a lot from this one.

And as you said future DLC could really make it a great title.

Yeah , we havent seen this aspect before because the PS2 versions didnt have the tech or online support like the PS3. So it will be interesting to see what EA will do with future content for the game as there is a market for it, then we wont have to buy anymore expansions for our PC versions :)

I loved that game when it came out.

I never got got into the sims 2

I just saw a commercial advertising this for PS3 & Xbox etc etc.... I was a little shocked saying the least. I wasn't aware this game was hitting consoles so soon.

Go easy guys, I'm new :) has anyone played the console version? What's it like I don't really trust reviews.

Be next on my list 4shure, I loved The Sims 2.

A console version should work well, I played Sims Busting Out heaps when it was released on the Game Cube.

LOL No...it's actually a complicated simulator. (*) Can become hectic keeping everyone happy, or sad if that's your thing. I used to have a butler I'd work to death cleaning, preparing food. Can become really addictive. Set everyone up and watch the outcome.

I'll be interested to see what online aspects brought to consoles this gen. I always enjoyed working on opening every location. I'd spent hours on Sims 2. Hours!

Gonna get this soon.. building houses is so cool :) not sure how i'll take to the more complicated sims micro-management system (i like simplicity) but thats what cheats are for. Havent seen any video reviews of this yet... its getting good paper reviews but has largely been ignored.
