I can't wait to have this game in my hands, a remake of the best Tony Hawks game ever. I'm hoping they keep the same controls and don't try anything stupid.

Realease date: Expected between June - September (why not now! [Rage] )

Yep, but it only runs for 1:30 instead of a full 2 minute run and they seem to have edited the level so there is only half of it to explore, the game looks awesome, can't wait to get it on ps3, the 360 controller was not made for classic tony hawk, :P

Calling some reviews "quite vicious" Tsui added: "Had we changed it up and modernized it, we would have gotten the same criticism from the other side.

"We knew going in that there were going to be some comments about the gameplay, but it's not Pro Skater 5, it's what Pro Skater 1 & 2 were."

Tsui also suggested that the HD update could spawn a new, multi-platform sequel.

"I think for now Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is a very good way to reacquaint people to the franchise.

"People are more apt to try games that are smaller and downloadable. Moving forward we'd have to see what our options are for a completely new experience, especially for any new platforms. But for now, downloadable games for a low price allow us great flexibility to try new things."

Some reviews were ridiculously harsh. For a download-only game with gameplay mechanics from frickin' ten years ago, some critics were really having a cry and winge about what it didn't have.

I thought it was great *shrugs* I still boot it up every now and then even though I played the crap out of it to review it.

I hope we see more Pro Skater games.

Well I'm not sure the original BMX games were anywhere near as popular as the THPS to justify even a reboot. Which sucks because the world needs a new BMX game.

Not sure. But both Activision and Microsoft were plugging this to us, so that suggests the usual exclusivity deal between them of 1-2 months. So I'd think it'd be soon.
