PS2 Linux Kit

Just wondering if any here ever got the chance to mess around with this and what was it like?
I had the early model PS3 so I got to have a little bit of a poke around with it before Sony took that away from us *resists urge to rant about that* and remember it ran pretty sluggish so I'm assuming the PS2 version would be similar.
Just buy a PSX ;)

They cost a fortune and they are all NTSC ;)
Nah I never did but I did purchase one of the network adapters that's in the bottom left hand corner of the second photo for the online play feature. [Shifty]
I wouldn't bother, Guyver. Ran Linux on the PS3 for a while and for 256MB of memory it ran pretty well but Linux on the PS2 would be horrendous from what I can imagine. Not even sure if it includes a GUI or if it is all text/console based?
But you guys all ran full desktop versions of linux on your ps3s. This one was specially designed to run on a ps2 if I'm correctly mistaken.
But it is likely to be just a terminal, which is fine uf you know your way around

YDL was designed more with PS3 in mind than a desktop, from what I remember. Not that I stuck with it for too long..
