[PS2] Memory Cards

so i am just getting back into my PS2 and have bought a few games and realised my old memory cards are pretty full and it annoys me having to switch them all around all the time.

So i looked on ebay and there are 64mb and 128mb models. are these reliable? has anyone got one?

im just after impressions on whether i should go that big and if anyone can recommend a seller that would be great too. :)

I'm always pretty cautious of fake memory cards, I've read numerous reports of them becoming corrupted, that's not to say they always do though.

yeah thats the thing. but you cant buy genuine ones anymore unless they are used or they are really expensive.

i have a couple of third party ones that have worked fine

Buy two cards the same size. Run your games off one and perform backups to the second. Ensuring some redundancy in the data will save you from loss if corruption takes place.
