Resident Evil 1 Uncut.

I am currently trying to find the uncut version of Resident Evil on PSX, the one that has the intro in full colour. I have heard the German & French versions of Resident Evil Directors Cut were indeed uncut but can't completely confirm this. I also understand that the Japanese version was uncut too but i only have a PAL PS2.

Does anyone know for certain which copy is uncensored (preferrably which PAL edition)?

I've tried Ebay but have had no luck. Any other sites to recommend where i may be able to find it? Considering it's rare & very old?

Resident Evil: Director's Cut was in colour, i'm pretty sure anyway... there wasnt really an "uncensored" version because all that was changed was they showed an extra 3-4 second clip of red 'blood'... other than that all that was changed was some camera angles and a few costumes. The game itself, as far as I'm aware, never changed.

Are you sure it was just the intro that was censored? Apparently the German version had the Kenneth death scene uncut which shows more than just the zombie face turning it's head. I know it's only minor but i would rather the full version if i can get it.

This is the part i mean, unless it was just early build or something rather.
