GDC: Sony reveals motion controller as 'PlayStation Move'

The controller will be offered in a number of flavors to consumers. The Move controller itself will be offered as a standalone product for those that already own the the PlayStation Eye, which is require to use the controller. A "started kit" will also be made available, which will include the controller, the Eye, as well as a game; Sony is shooting for this kit to come in at under $100.

hmm doesnt the charging docks use the same charging point as the usb cable, why would it be different n have 2 recharge points?

you dont need one coz you can use the dual shock but would make it easier if you use one

oh so that explaines the two metal parts on each side, those r whats use for the re charging, hmm think i might have to get me one of those re-charge docks, i asume the docks connect to the PS3 threw a single usb?

Yep and I think it's got is own power supply from a powerpoint too.

ooOO nice, my PS3 only got 2 usb slots :( i bought afew usb multi plug attachments but aparently the cheaper ones only like to be used for usb memory sticks n not to actualy re-chagre controllers threw, they seem to short out all the time n make my room smell like fried plastic [Shifty]

I picked up one for 20 bucks..... I coloured in the white writing black cause it looked ugly. :P

And it has served me well, so I got PlayTV plugged in 24/7 along with the PS Eye now. [monkey]

Yah it is confirmed the recent 1142mb update for Heavy-Rain is so we can now use our Move controllers with the game, was all excited till i noticed it will take about 53mins to download :( damn you wireless internets

it took mine a few hours to download. but move is really good in heavy rain :)

I like teh move setup for heavy rain and for the first time in a game the sphere went blue for mine. And it goes red when you hold the T button to do an interaction

Play Sports Champions and u will see all the colours of the rainbow, except Orange, i found it only went Orange whislt playing MAG Beta, and allso get different colours while playing Tumble

Ye Tumbles worth the buy, $15.95 pretty fun/addictive game, ye i was playing High Velocity Bowling earlier n found its much more fun with the MOVE controller than hold the DS3 sideways @_@ as for playing it in 3D umm no i havent got a 3D TV n doesnt apeal me "and i sure most people here" at the moment, unless i sell a kidney and afew other body parts to pay for it.. [Shifty]
