PS3 Problems

So my PS3 has been screwing up for about a week now, it has been signing me out of PSN straight away when I sign in.

Now about 10 minutes ago I turned on and started playing Black Ops. It loaded up, showed the menu and then immediately the screen went blank and the audio stopped playing. My TV still knew the PS3 was there, because the no signal message didn't come up.

I reset the PS3, and straight away the same thing happened. I've tried different TV's, HDMI cables, and AV cables but nothing seems to work.

Help please?

Sometimes HDMI leads will not send the signal through if it has been unplugged and put back in.

switch the ps3 and tv off and unplug the hdmi from both ends, reconnect the hdmi, push and hold the ps3 power down until you hear it beep for the second time.

you should then get picture from the playstation asking if you want to output audio and video through hdmi (obviously yes)

I was thinking about that Reset but I wasn't sure if it worked. Worth a try though

hmmmm..... you said you tried other hdmi leads and tv right?

just try going back to using a composite video lead (the original that came with the unit) too see if you are getting audio and video out of that...
if so, try the original idea again, this will tell us if its the video board or the hdmi output.

Well, I found another HDMI lead in my house that works with the TV. There's two leads going in the bin. Thanks for the help guys.
