I have heard mixed things about getting tats there, some people i know say its just like getting your shoulder done, others say its the worst pain they have ever paid for

yeh that too, trying to take one of your own stuff without coming off like a total tool.

Incidentally those of you with tats what do you do about them when in public? I tend to try and keep mine covered, just due to the amount of hassle i get from people, being stopped on the streets and getting the third degree from total strangers, wussy bouncers and security are the worst, and don't get me started on pigs, actually I think they probably have the best photos of my tats I should really ask them for copies next time I'm down flinders lane, what does everyone else do?

My mate is the same age as me. 16 and a bloke we know whos dad is one of the best in queensland when it comes to tattoes.
I belive he has one many awards. Don johnson his name is. I think.
But his son gave my mate one while my mate was drunk and he was stoned. My mate kept moving and the bloke doing it was just ****ed as.
He was meant to give him a nike tick but its looks so pathetic its all fat and looks like a stupid line. And he has a messy j.j above it for his lil brother.
I dont think ill even try to get mine til im 18.
I mean what happens when your skin strethces as you grow or as you gain muscle.

I had something similar happen when getting one done on my left arm, tattooist and I were wasted to the extreme, doing bong hits, drinking piss, and tattooing all at the same time, anyway the tattooist passed out half way through the tat, i had to finish it myself, so its kinda blotchy - not so bad actually for somebody who learnt to use the gun by himself on himself while wasted, but the outline is nowhere near sharp, I keep debating weather or not i should fix it up, that's why i bought a couple of guns, (one of the downsides to getting mates to do your tats, even professionals)

But as for what happens when you gain/lose weight, think of your skin like a balloon, blow it up and draw something on it, let the air out see what happens to the picture, fill it up again and see what happens to the picture, same with tats unless you put on enough weight for stretch marks, in which case you need to get a touch up done, that's why i think women should never gut their guts tattooed, when pregnant that cute dolphin becomes a killer whale

As for good tattoos... I want to get something that commemorates my high school years, possibly an hourglass with wings

What about gaming tattoos? I'd also consider a Doom style pentagram or the Quake 'Q'...

I went to uni with someone who was covered in Transformers tats. Had a TMNT one on his neck as well. Cool dude, but stupid tatts.

What was he thinking? If he does regret that later and I'm sure he will I doubt even laser treatment will remove all that.
As for me I have dragon tribal style tat on one arm and small circular design on the other shoulder which I plan to extend at some point.

The bar tender at one of my local irish pubs, (pogues) is in the process of getting a marvel villains sleave, venom, green goblin, dr doom .... he has five or six characters done
