This thread is basically a rip off of that piercing one but I noticed a number of people coming in talking about tattoos. So, *tear*. Whether you got any and want to discuss or you are thinking/planning on getting any work done. Just keep it civil.

What about piercings? lol People shrug those off, and they can wind up being no less permanent than a tattoo. People take tattoos way to seriously, like it's some profound way to tell people about themselves. It's just ink, get whatever you want, doesn't have to mean anything, because in some small way every tattoo reminds you of some time in your life, why does it have to be a direct representation of it. Done and done.

piercings can be removed.

I had a earring when i was 4, wore it till i realised how much of a douche bumpkin it made me look and took it out.

It eventually fades away on the inside of the finger. There will be a little bit of a smudge, but not much.

Hence why I said "can wind up being" if tattoos could be removed as easily as piercings no one would care what they got. It all falls under body modification. People really do take tattoos way to seriously. It's not that big a deal, you think something looks good as a tattoo and you want it? Get it, I plan on getting a million other stupid tattoos and I'll never regret a single one, because I get them at momentous occasions.
