Good to get a win in WA, but Freo were without Sandi and their kicking was woeful

Blues seemed flat from the very first bounce. They didn't seem to really try apart from that 5-10 minutes burst at the beginning of the third. They were lucky to come away with the points.

Freo really should have won the game, but you'll rarely win a game when you kick 7 goals 15.

Yeah under Harvey I thought Freo would be capable of one day getting into a grand final with a decent shot at winning it eventually because they had an attacking gameplan.

If Freo make it under Ross (providing Sandi & Pav aren't retired by then) is his gameplan capable of winning a flag? Because it wasn't at St Kilda they blew 3 golden opportunities.

I've definitely noticed that Freo games aren't as interesting to watch this year, not the free-flowing footy that we used to employ.

The positive thing is your list has a ton of improvement in it (Morabito & Barlow when fully fit, Neale & Spurr will be guns in time) so they're still a chance of going deep in finals regardless of a super defensive gameplan.

If I supported them I would be more confident in their chances if Lyon had a plan B for games like last night against top 4 teams, however the game could've been different had Sandilands been available.

Ended up being an 8 point game, and halfway through the third it was a dead game. Boring!

On Sunday, Fox usually have 1pm and 4pm games and Seven does the 2pm game.
