Only thing is that most other teams haven't had players be proven to be on drugs.

West Coast had a known drug problem with at least one player and strong suspicions of others yet it was all swept under the carpet because it would all be too hard for the AFL to admit to.

Was West Coast found to be using performance enhancing drugs though?

I think a few players tested positive for illegal substances twice during their top years, but only Cousins was named after a third (I presume that's how it came out), but I don't think any where found to be using 'roids or anything.

This is why I assume illegal drugs aren't considered to be that big of a deal because you get three chances (too many IMO), but I assume you're gone if you get caught performance enhancing.

West Coast did have a lot of players get two strikes in that period, but I think every club has had someone register at least once in the past few years, so not like everyone else is totally clean.

I think it came out that heaps of players failed the drug test, but they didn't release names.

It's definitely not just West Coast.

Yeah they only release names after three.

They don't even release clubs anymore. Just someone has tested positive twice, three people have once this year etc.

Normally some journo figures out who has done twice, like with Travis Tuck, but you can never be quite sure. Unless Caro says she knows, in which case it's definitely not that player.

All drugs are classed as performance enhancing on game day.

I probably shouldn't have written that they were all on drugs as I'm sure they weren't and it probably would have had nothing to do with the result but it has never been talked about properly, just forgotten about really.

lol, might want to do a bit of research about drugs and what they do. travis tuck was blowing out on G, you can't play on that shit and it isn't something your body becomes dependent on. It makes you feel "drunk" and wonky etc.

Ben cousins was smoking ice. While he says he didn't smoke it game days is BS. People who are hooked on shards are hooked and do anything for a puff. When you smoke shards you have a shit load of energy, you don't feel pain, you are stronger etc.
