Hi everyone, dont really know if this is the right place to post this but here goes.
First off great site.
Second I have started doing airbrushing as a hobby, please check out some pictures on my site at www.ld-airgrafix.com if you have any questions or enquiries please contact me at ld-airgrafix@optusnet.com.au
thank you
Of it was on a console it would have to be something with a gaming theme. Like wings said consoles that are linked with new release games would be good
I want this done to the side of my PC case [Derp] [Derp]

Get the Adobe Flash Player to see this video.

That CoD one in the second post looked so real, I had to do a double take to see if it was actually cracked that badly. :P

Awesome detail on a small surface. Great work as always man.
Wow. That is amazing. Like guyver said so much detail. How much do you charge for something like this?
Thanks guys, srpknija was thinking of putting this up on ebay for $30. The cover itself is cheap $2 but it does the job. But I would charge for something like this around $20 -$30 that includes clear coat to protect the artwork and give it a shiny smooth surface. What do you guys think of the price? At this price I wouldnt make much money, especially if doing 1 off. but Im just looking for enough money to keep my hobby going
Or i guess you could have an Auction on it with the starting price being at like $15-20 and a "Buy Now" price of $30 ;)

I worked on two bikes to make them into street fighters, and I would have loved those art work on the tanks. :|

Great talent mate, I really hope you get some good offers and projects from your work.

Thats just my luck he he. I have started to airbrush seriously only a year ago, and only started to advertise myself recently, havent had much luck, but that could all change soon. A semi-proffesional motorbike racer, has given me a chance to airbrush his helmet. Good news is, his sponsor is a helmet manufacturer, so that itself could lead into more jobs. Im very excited and nervous as hell. This could be my big break and if I fail I have only myself to blame [Facepalm]

No not at all mate, Its clear that you have a talent for airbrushing and any that see's your work will tell you the same, So i wouldnt be to harsh on urself and say you only have yourself to blame, If thr not interested i assure that it wont be due to ur lack of skill :P
but probaly due to they are just genrally not interested or think that having a skilled airbrusher would cost them to much, Either way its not the end of the world and i'm sure plenty of opportunities will arise if you market ur self abit more ;)

Why would someone +1 this? That's so mean :P.

Goodluck with the helmet! What design does he want on it?

Do you decide how much each piece costs on a case by case basis or do you have any set prices? In a few months i'd consider getting the side of my PC case air-brushed. This is in atleast 2 months though, when i get the case. :P Just asking in advance.

E: nvm i read your website :)

Its very hard to quote without understanding what a person wants, but airbrushing is my hobby that I would love to turn into full time proffesion, but there isnt a market for it here in Australia. When I quote something I look to at least to cover my costs, so for something like 1 side of the pc case I would probably charge around $80-100. I know some people might say thats too much, but I spend $40 just on primer and clear coat, then the paints plus other materials such as masking tape, as you can see I dont make much profit at the end.
The guy wants basically his racing colours plus a mad kangaroo design, I have some concept art will post it when I get a chance.
Thank you for showing interest
Good luck with the art!
80-100? You definitely deserve more then that :S. Looking at the Case I'm pretty set on(even though i change my mind regularly), i noticed that the side has a bulge for cable management. Not sure how easy it would be to airbrush good design on a surface like that :S. Anyways if I ever do need to i'll go to the website ;D
