Just wondering if anyone else has seen this series? Its brilliant! I downloaded an episode just to see what its like and couldnt get enough of it... so i ended up buying both seasons and downloading the third lol I heard they're even making a PC game for it which should be interesting... but i'm completely obsessed with this show now. Gotta get my hands on those books too...

Anyway! Anyone else love this show or what? For those who dont know anything about the show/books - its about a serial killer, Dexter Morgan, who works for the Miami Police Department as a forensic blood splatter analyst. Unlike other killers though Dexter has been taught to channel his urges and lust for murder by only killing "bad people" (usually other killers that have escaped the judicial process)

Its a really excellent show.

I really enjoyed the first episode, it takes the series in a new direction, away from season 5. I hope that they can out-do season 4 this year round

Yeah Season 4 was just so good, they'll be hard pressed to match it imo, but last season was below average for me. I hated Julia Styles character and that whole plot.

See I loved that season and thought her character was great, wouldn't mind a comeback sometime in the future.

Stick to it and you'll be rewarded plus season 2 was pretty rubbish compared to the rest of the series

season 6 is...more boring than season 2 atm for me. it seems more redeemable though.

actually, it seems like season 6 is...going to start adapting more of the books. if anybody knows the plot, think about this, he now has a son (that can turn in to a killer if they want, because we all know cody and astor were never gonna go that way in the tv show), and debra has just made lieutenant. it sort of sets up nicely to go back to the 2nd book and continue from there.

I started reading the first book, But I couldn't focus long enough to finish it :P

i havent read the books, but when things are based on books i tend to get a grasp on the story a little to see how its changed a bit. dexter books were ****ing weird by the sounds of it and the tv show was probably 10000000x better.

I got stuck into this show a little while ago. Sanity were having a 2 for $45 sale and I got the first 2 seasons of this.
I just finished season 2 the other day, thought it was pretty good. I take it the following seasons are even better? =D
