Awesome Motorsport Thread.

I'm not to keen on the Aussie V8 series. But still like to know whats going on in our own neck of the woods.

I do follow the NASCAR a fair bit tho and try and keep in the loop with all other major Motorsport around the world.

Don't think Jimmie Johnson has what it takes to win his 6th series title in a row but 5 in a row is still unheard of.

Also I would like to give a R.I.P to Dan Wheldon who's life was taken at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last week.

Best wishes to his friends and family.

yes its a very sad day in motogp history. I saw him get hit while watching it live, i instantly knew he wasnt going to survive.

Unbelieveable crash!

What a tragic accident I feel sorry for all involved, this is going to be hard to over come for the riders who hit him.

Rest in Peace Marco.

If you havnt seen the footage there's a few clips on YouTube but they are pretty full on espically the full replay when they show his part aswell then his life less body on the road. :(

i feel to my knees and started thinking, "Oh no, please no. Not Simoncelli"... It's been a very dark week for motorsport...

I was going to create this thread last week while watching the indycar final, but was too depressed by the passing of Dan Wheldon(RIP) :(
Everytime I see a a replay of that crash, it makes me cringe.

I don't follow the 2 wheelers, but it still saddens me to hear we have now lost Simoncelli. He was a talented young rider with big things in his future. RIP

The F1 Indian GP will be interesting I agree, quite a few straights where the McLaren Mercedes will have the advantage over the Red Bulls, because we all know that the Red Bulls are slower than them in straights, then again you never count out the Red Bull's.
