hey guys, this is a thread for all the people here at myps3 that work out. post up pics of your mucscles or anything!

I've been doing the following for a while now.
Monday: Back and Bis
Wednesday: Chest
Friday: Shoulders and Tris
Sunday: Legs
and abs are pretty much chucked in everyday.


I changed my routine.
I am now doing
Monday: 1 and a half hours chest
Tuesday: 1 and a half hours back
Wednesday: 1 and a half hours shoulders
Thursday: Bi's and Tri's
Friday: Legs
Saturday: Repeat mon
Sunday: repeat tues
No cardio or abs



Wow, they say that anymore than 45 minutes is a waste of time, its too hard to keep the intesity up for any longer and your body will be in a bad way because it needs protein ASAP!!!
I'm doing the P90x program. Set routines over 90 days with different programs for each day. I recommend it to anybody looking for a decent workout they can do at home without too much gym equipment. In week 2 now and can really feel the differences already. Pain is good

some real good workouts guys good to see there is a minority of us that hit the gym
I've notice that there's a couple of people doing chest on Mondays Has anyone noticed so many people do chest on Mondays, the owner of my gym calls it international chest day



haven't been to the gym for about a month, i'll probably start when school starts again.

i havnt trained in a month my arms have lost muscle but my abs are ripped as ever
i just watched the movie, bigger faster stronger. its about being the best you possibly can be, which means taking steriods. i have been taking supplements for about 3 months now, they do cost alot. there is a model on this movie that advertises the supps but takes steriods and says that 'if the people buying the product believe thats all hes taking then thats there fault.'

also it mentions about playing fair and not taking steriods and makes a point that i did not know of that tiger woods has super humans eye-sight because of that laser surgery.

a good watch for anyone that wants a bit more insight on opions about steriods, i did not know that much about them but it turns out that everyone is cheating in one way or another.

Yeah ive heard/red that alot alot of times actually i always do 45-1 hour depends how hard im going which intern makes the latic acids build up quicker and havent had any problems building up.
Also any more then 45-1hr i find u loose the full intensity so i dont see a point in doing it in a half arse way lol guess it depends weather u training big and going for bulking or weather ur training for endurance but personaly i do it 4 bulking so thats why i only do it 4 that long.

Make sure every few weeks u change the amount of reps u do or ur muscles get usta it and u dont want that.
Great point redrex94 on changing things up so you dont adapt.

Just wanted to comment on the 45min-1hr long sets. I'm also of the opinion unless your diet is 100% spot on - you risk going catabolic on really long sessions.

That is - your body starts to eat its own muscle to fuel its energy requirements. And you dont want that!!!

I have read that some body builders say upto 80% of bulking up is in the diet!!! That means you need to eat right, take in carbs at the right time of day, having 1gram of protein per pound that you weight, not per kilo!!! Anymore is useless as your body will flush out the extra protein that it does not need!!!

Guys also a good tip, every couple of weeks you should alter your program, you should start your program from the end of it and work backwards every now and then, also you should go up weight, or reps every second work out, you do not want your body to be able to adapt to the work out you are doing, you need to keep your body guessing!!!

That is a little bit of advice to get you going!!!

but still not a wise descision mate, just stick with the chicken, eh?
yeah suppose only young. taking alot of protein supps and working out good. just want it to be quicker. also hgh is for anti-ageing as well so really dont want to look any younger, am 21 and told i look about 18/19
no pain no gain mate, not everything can be quick and easy. just keep working at it, you'll get there.

My training usually get done in under an hour and cardio bores the crap out of me. I spend most of my working day on my feet anyway so there's my cardio

Meh, it's pretty normal on this site. There are discussions about gyms, food, sports, news articles etc. Myps3 has it all!!

I like myps3 because of the social side. It makes the community more vibrant instead of just discussing boring,unintersting ps3 issues...
My routine today:
-Slept in til 2.30pm, needed a good rest for the hard day ahead.
-Was woken by my mum as she had lunch ready. So I gorged on some deep fried potato slices (for energy), a pile of ravioli (love my carbs), and binned the stack of spinach since it seemed a bit healthy
-Followed up with some work on my fingers, excercising them for hours on end clicking my mouse and pressing buttons on the PS controller
-Occasional bit of cardio as I made the trek all the way to the fridge for a drink and snack. It was tough but I have goals I want to achieve so I forced my way through the pain barrier. Definitely deserved the rest again as I parked my arse down for some more gaming
-Did a bit of lower body work a bit later, driving down to McDonalds for some fat-filled deliciousness. I recommend it to anyone trying to bulk up, very nutritious food to add to your diet.
-Cooked up some pork chops in oil later on (left all that yum, chewy fat on) and with the help of some eggs, cheese and butter I made a very protein-rich burger
Phew. Tough day, but I reckon I can already notice the results. I look and feel amazing
