If you guys are like me, then you simply can not get enough of violence & gore in video games

Well this is a really neato sign for us "adult" gamers, which i assume is all of us

During work ive been reading alot of the kotaku articles about the R 18 issue .. OMFG this is going in freaking circles its like a media circus, ACL & the Robert Clark should just shove a orange cone above there heads & STFU i mean their arguments arent valid....I gotta feeling this R18 isnt going through & I just hope Brendan O'Connor puts his foot down and passes it through to federal or whatever is above...

Wow Atkinson should've been pushed out along time ago the senile old fool is now coming out and saying that it is a great idea & should've happened a while ago [Facepalm]

The way John Rau was talking about it he's a guy who's actually listened to the people rather then belittle gamers & push his own agenda, who would've thought SA will look to lead a major change to the classification system given the stance old Atkinson had :P

Might as well go it alone when chances are some other states dumbass AG will probably oppose and stuff it up for everybody, come on let me buy MK without risk from the store [Derp]

So if one votes no the R18 classification is scrapped for the 2nd time. i think it meant to take place june or july?

Personally i think we NEED a R18 classification for games. We have them for movies so why not games.?

They ARGUE that "Watching a DVD, you are merely an OBSERVER of the violence" but in games "you are in control of the actions, and you are the one committing the violence " etc
Thats why they claim the link between "VIOLENCE AND VIDEO GAMES " which is BS really.

the way it used to work was if one person said no it didnt pass, all have to say yes. hence the huge amount of hate towards that atkinson dick

There was apparently a big meeting today for the R18+ classification, whilst I don't think there was an outcome (due to the NSW AG stalling) Brendan O'Connor thinks it will be implemented in a matter of months end of year at the latest.

Even if the commonwealth have to override the NSW AG :D
