If you guys are like me, then you simply can not get enough of violence & gore in video games

Well this is a really neato sign for us "adult" gamers, which i assume is all of us

dnt get excited guys u all know wat a tool ATKINSON is i mean games arent as simple as pong or super mario these days and the sooner he realises this the better of we all gonna be. Not all of us are u18's i think we should have the right to choose wat we want to play.
Also if a parent thinks its fine to buy their kid a r18+ or MA15+ who is anyone to tell them otherwise.

P.S if we are all inside playing our ps3 how the hell are we all going out and being corrupt.

ATKINSON not only are your screws lose but i think you have lost them i've got them sitting here next to my keyboard, come over so i can screw them back in for ya

To be honest, I think the question is worded wrongly. It gives the impression that its porn video games. The question should read "Should Australia have an R18+ classification for video games" I think that would be a better question to ask.

They had a debate about this on sunrise, and both ppl involved said that the bans will probably keep happening until a certain SA senator changes his mind.

This discussion was over the classification like movies for video games.

Funny thing was the guy that didn't want classifications and just wanted them banned kept refering to them as "videos" and the feedback was pretty amusing everything mel read was 20-30-40 yr olds saying why the hell should they suffer and most import from sites like ebay to avoid detection.

I can't believe this. It's the first time I've ever witnessed it.

I was at EB Games, and the checkout girl would not sell these kits Timesplitters because it was rated M15+ (not MA15+ Restricted).

She's now holding onto the game, until the kids bring a guardian or someone over 15 before she'll sell the game.

This is probably not new to most people, but as I said earlier ... this is the first time I've ever witnessed it! The classification system ... sometimes works? xD

It's happened to me once but I think the guy who served me that time was the manager so I never go near him

And legally if your over 12 or something you can get M15+ without an adult.

How young were the kids?
And legally if your over 12 or something you can get M15+ without an adult.

i reckon they should go ahead with the R18+ classification as they have got them on movies, so why not on games, games are getting realistic as time goes on and its not long before they are going to be lifelike

I said M15+, because that's what the rating on Timesplitters said.

It had the older black & white OFLC rating:

i dont sell ma15+ to kids either, i make them go get their parents
