Had an absolute ball. Saw some really interesting panels, picked up a few books, started to realise that comics is soon going to become my next big passion. Managed to skip the entire queue on Sunday simply by walking right in, couldn't believe my luck!

Had a great time. Didn't see anyone from Here, though Matrix spotted me? How did you manage that? :P

Got a photo with Stan Lee, his autograph on an old spidey issue and got to film Stan Lee's and Drogo's Q&As.

Got a photo with Drogo at a bar last night too :P

Was fun walking around with a comic con official lanyard, gotta say. Did a total of like 90 mins of queueing over the weelend and that was just for Stan Lee :P

If I'm not mistaken, were you not that develishly young looking fair skinned, fiery haired, extraordinarily handsome tall boy-man?? *_* Plus, I think you were the only sexting just before I saw you post ;) You were one of those eager beavers waiting in line for the Stan hours before he even arrived!! A 90 minute waiting is line is relatively short compared to those who stood in one spot for 3 hours...and that's just for the token booth!! :*O

Glad you had a great time and managed to get a lot done, I was pretty busy myself on a different scale.

New venue next year, it'll be at the Exhibition Building in Carlton! On at the first week of July. i'm not sure if it'll be a bigger place in terms of space, when eGames was there they didn't use the entire building so it felt small!?
And then the event died! :'(

I'm not keen of the new venue, if it's raining and freezing again, where will the 1km line of people stand and wait for hours go? :*O
Many will either leave or just won't go sure to weather, plus it's as ready to get to either, at least with the Exhibition Centre, Crown is just across the road and had plenty of indoor cover. Plus it's cold in the building :S No free parking around either! -_-

- That is where eGames went, they did not use the whole venue: they used about half, there was another convention on the other side run bny the same people. It's a big building, can hold several thousand people. Not sure it's bigger than the convention centre, though...

- They will line up outside, in the rain lol.

- There's no food around either ><

Really? That's disappointing to hear. I thought the event had a great turn out, and I was expecting a bigger and better convention next year. This news has me worried it will be shit though.

The building next year has a more friendly layout for conventions, I feel, and more room to kind of 'flow' through.

We'll see though.
