So this is now the Rant Thread Version 2.0 Please keep the thread clean, if anything bad happens then Admin please close the thread.

So before going to school this morning, I went to purchase a TravelTen Concession bus pass at my local News agency which costed me $8.40. I have purchased a lot of times from this store before, never had any problems with the guy that owns the store but today he "accidentally" gave me a Single-Only ticket, I was rather late to school so I assumed I got what I paid for and I went ahead and got on the bus. I went on the bus and put my ticket in, I realised that it's a Single'-Only ticket. Cause it said "No more rides left" and after checking the ticket labeling. So then I thought it was probably just an honest mistake.

So after school today I went in with my friend. And asked the same guy If I could get my TravelTen Concession Card, and he was on the phone while he was talking to me. I said I would gladly pay him $1 because the Single-only ticket cost that much, if I could get my travel ten concession card which I paid $8.40 for. Then he starts blabbering about how he has never seen me this morning and even in his life, even though I have been there a few times, buying the same ticket. He was rather rude about it too. So I asked him If he can watch the security camera footage, to prove that I was there this morning, then he says that he has no security camera even though it's right behind me. He starts screaming how I'm just a cheater etc. I raised my voice and told him to stop lying and to stop cheating your customers. He then points his finger on an A4 piece of paper saying something like "no refund" or something like that. So I exit out and my friend was screaming the F word at him, and I cursed him too, while I see him smiling when we left.

After that I told my parents about it and they were very upset, they went and told the guy off at the newsagency. After that my parents told me not to worry about it and stuff. But my dad was still really pissed off. But he got over it soon.

Okay I don't care about the $8.40, but the owner of that newsagency just really pisses me off. He can rip me off $100 and I'll get over it the next day, but what I don't want is when I'm treated with disrespect and accused of being a lier/cheater. Also he was being a rude jerk to my parents saying that they should die and he makes more money than my parents do. Seriously?

I just wanted to share this to clear my chest. Maybe I overreacted about this situation, but he just really pissed me off, I hope he goes out of business. [MOG]

I bet they have some sort of deal going on with the cops so they can setup easy speed traps. A friend of mine got caught like that, and because it was an 80 zone she got clocked at 40 k'a over and ended up losing her license for 3 months and got hit with a massive fine.

Not sure who to hate on for this so I'll share the rage between them all. It's pretty common for me to put petrol in my car at night, like many people I prefer to have petrol in my tank before I head off to work. Really can't be stuffed filling up first thing in the morning because I'm usually running late :P What makes this simple task a pain in the arse is when servos have that bull shi* pre-paid rule that usually kicks in after 8 or 9PM. This is not so bad if you are just chucking in 30 bucks or something like that but if you are filling up your tank then how the hell are you meant to guess the price? Since I work close I don't usually fill my tank full but misses has to drive really far to work and it's mostly all freeway driving so filling up along the way is a pain. Tonight I took her car to go to the gym so she asked me to fill up and I totally forgot about the local servo having that pre-paid rule. The guy working there gave me attitude when I said "WTF do I do I want to fill up and I can only guess the price?"..
So who do we really blame for this stupid system? The government for making the petrol so expensive with taxes which at some point forced people to do runners. The people that did all the fill up and run efforts using stolen number plates and what not. Or the servos for implementing the systems and not having enough security to deal with the problem?

@guyver, not sure why they giving you attitude but I generally hate this too. But I've been able to get away with telling them I have no idea and that they will just open it up for me and I'll pay later.

unless the machines in your area dont allow for that. I think its germany where they've re-implemented the gas attendant. I'd love to see that here again because I hate touching those fuel pumps, haha. I blame the sheik who is swimming in his billions of dollars.

I got an email from a client and it enrages me how much of a cow she is....

Imagine they locked you into the pump area with some sort of barrier. Actually if they did something like that we could just pay with EFPOS at the pump. Speaking of which what every happened to that?

Good idea. Strip of spikes at each bowser / pump that can only be dropped by the attendent (or another worker) AFTER they have paid and filled (or filled and paid) if done right, There's no way they could go forward or back (spikes) [MOG]

Probably belongs in the car thread more than here but it still is a rant I guess. What I can not stand is people on the road that can not judge the width of their car, you see a persons ability to do so when you are on a side street and there's cars parked on the side of the road. Anyone who knows how to drive their car along side of the parked cars without having veer off onto the other side of the road. Yeah I know there's some streets that are really narrow and you have no choice but I'm referring to the average side street where you can place 4 cars side by side then the road is full. When the road is a bit narrower say 3 car widths across then the basic rule of thumb is if the parked car is on your side of the road then you give way and wait for the other car/s to pass. Hate it when idiots don't and just dive onto your side of the road.
Today just a few minutes ago as I was driving home I was coming down a side road that's 4 car widths wide, there was a cars on each side. I was not going to give way because I could easily get my car past the parked cars without even coming close to the center line. There was another car coming the other way and there was cars on their side of the road as well. This braid dead saw that I was coming his way so what does idiot decide to do...he hits their high beams and nearly roasts my eye balls, yeah that's the best thing to do [Rage] So their idea of safe driving is to blind the person coming towards them to compensate for their incompetent driving. If I was in a bad mood I would have chased them down and taken their car keys off them and checked them down a storm drain -_- I live in an area where shitty drivers and very common so I've gotten used to this level of stupid, half the time I don't even beep at them.
Ranting aside I think people that can't judge the width of their car should be allowed to drive. It should be part of the driving test, if you can't drive between two obstacles that measures a bit wider than the width of your vehicle then you should fail.

Retard thought cause he had a good car he would come from behind and get in front of me before the road merged into one lane after the double lane roundabout dick head pissed me off so much...I had to break other wise we would of crashed...all just to be a **** head and show his car off

It is people like that I wish to find their car wrapped around a ****ing light pole

It's all well and good owning a nice car or a high performance car but there's a time and place to explore it's limits. It's acts like that pigeon hole the average performance or modified car owner into the "hoon" category. Oh man there's another rant for you right there. I have been driving modified and performance cars all my life and there was never a hoon law back when I was on my P's. It's the last batch of drivers that watched Fast and the Furious and decided to act like it. Now thanks to those idiots there's all these hoon laws, lots of cops discriminate against performance cars even when you are doing nothing wrong and insurance prices go up as well.

OMG Leasha you just scored another point on my awesome list. You are this close to me ignoring the fact that you own Apple products =D
Seriously I have seeing Chev badges on Holdens, I don;t care if you have a LS motor, anyway that's a GM engine...
I'm pretty sure the guys in the US don't take of their G8 Chev badges and put SS Holden badges on their cars. Same with the guys in Europe, I'm sure they keep their Vaxhaul badges on their HSV imports.
Either leave the original badges on there or take them off entirely.

Oh I know. Seems to be a growing trend up here on the coast as well :(

What I love it when they strip all the other badges and then just have the one Chev badge ALSO without sounding like I'm targeting an age group ( I'm not really, I know there are some awesome P platers out there) but it seems most of these Chev badge owners also own a nice little P in their back window.

Please for the love of god understand what you are actually driving!!!
