How the hell have you not been to one.

The pharmacy at my local shopping centre (Watergardens) sells me one box of my prescribed stuff for $30. Go to Chemist warehouse and they sell it to me for $5.60

Idea for lather bowl: why not use a small mortar?

The stone would store heat like a boss, it's very regularly shaped inside, and the bottom surface often has some roughness, or even has rivulets carved in, which will help aerate the lather.

The only issue would be finding one shallow enough for use with a shaving brush.

yeah hungry jacks sorta died in sydney, and subway was never a huge thing i only remember one subway untill i moved to melbourne.

Olawl. I've never used them, but I have used a close cousin of them: the Gilette Rubie blade. The Rubies are fair quality, comparable to a Derby, but more consistent. Good for maybe two shaves only, though.

It is an old mortar. :P It holds heat for at least ten or fifteen minutes. And as I said previously, the inside has a certain level of roughness, which is handy for aerating lather.
