So this is coming out in the next few weeks and I for one will be purchasing it on day one.

I really liked the concept of City of Heroes but it was simply lacking for me. I feel this will bring it to a new level, creating your own super hero/villain to fight alongside some of DC Comics finest is going to be awesome.

Anyone else getting excited for this game?

Am guessing I have some tons of huge patches after that? So yeah...hoping to login by tonight.

The official launcher is faster than the steam...took me 1hr on steam to download 900mb....took me 1hr on the official downloader to download 3.5gb

I'd definitely play a trial copy. But paying that much to try a mmorpg? No, I've done that too many times before, my wallet cannot handle it these days.

Edit: It does remind me very much of Champions Online (But with less character customisation!)

I know exactly what an MMO is, but the prices are ridiculous, lower price I would have thought about it and I will say what I want and when I want also how I want. For it to be awesome would have to be a major improvement over the beta and by major I mean complete overhaul
