Still a rumor/teaser/NFI at the moment but it looks like we may be seeing a sequel to Prototype. Well that's the buzz going around that was cause by this piss poor super short video.

The big question is do we want another Prototype game? The first one was ok-ish but was broken as all hell on the PC. I think the console versions were a little less bug free.

I really enjoyed the story in prototype. Those absorbing people flashback thingys (haven't played in a while :P) were a really nice touch. And the combat was quite enjoyable, plenty of variety, the only problem was that most of his powers became redundant, bar a few.
The last boss was ridiculous, such a huge difficulty spike in the game, kinda spoiled it for me.

yeah thats the problem with it and especially they made you practically indestructable and hard to die, thats why i prefer infamous

Hopefully they do a HUGE turn around with Ubi did with Assassins Creed.

If Prototype could make an improvement that big, imagine how good the game would be.

I've played both and finished both. Story in Prototype didn't exactly keep me wanting to play it through as Infamous was pretty entertaining. Gameplay wise Prototype was too rushed kind of, but still had some good mechanics. Compared to Infamous, it has clean graphics, fun gameplay and entertaining. I enjoyed both, but am looking forward to Infamous 2, rather than Prototype 2.

UbiSoft has a history of improving on crappy games after butloads of feed back, and while Prototype wasnt that bad a game, Activision doesnt have that good a rep for improvements, they just churn out games with the same gameplay and clame that it has been dramaticly improved apon (ex. MW2 claiming that its the most realistic FPS ever made, then it was just CoD4 with more guns and a truly unbelivably crappy campagin story line)

If Activision even pays the production coumpany enough to get this game properly in to gear, I will be quite surprised. All you need to do is look at their recent past, like ****ing up Infinity Ward with the MW2 roialties to see that I am actualy right.
It will probably just be Prototype with new powers and slightly better graphics... so it will be slightly entertaining at the start and monotoneous repetitive crap at the end.
And that little kiddies is it. if the game is actualy worth a damm then find me when it comes out, I will get it and play it and if it is diffrent to what I say now. I shall eat my dirty underpants on camera for your amusement.

Once you've done all the silly stuff like climb to the highest building and chuck a person off it, then go look for the body you kinda get over it all.
