Searched around and couldn't find a thread dedicated to the discussion of one of best movie series, and lets not forget the awesome games (mainly the SNES games).

Actually I was looking for a place to add this link www.gizmodo.com.au/... I'd love to go and check out these locations one day and I'm pretty surprised that some of the "props" are still standing.

Anyway feel free to use this thread for anything Starwars related.

I got the Hasbro FX Lightsaber Luke Skywalker. It cost me $120 I sometimes use it as a lamp/torch and I like the 'whoob' sound it makes when moving it. Every Star Wars fan must have these.

Ive pre ordered the star wars xbox. I think ive played nearly every star wars games, even the arcade flight sim and the ones that broke my will to live because theyre so hard is the super star wars snes series... unleashed 2 just broke my will to live because its sooo bad... Still got my GC Rogue Sqdn man that was awesome!!

I used to work for a film company and my job was to watch movies, come up with a design for the front cover and menu and so on and brief that to an art team. My boss at the time, who had been working in the film industry for almost 20 years, had never seen the any of the Star Wars films. I'm sorry but how is that possible? Unless you have lived with your head in the sand or are blind I cannot see why someone would never have seen part of one especially working in the film industry.

On the gamesa themselves though... the old SNES and 64 ones rocked. Podracer was so far ahead of its time and yes, rogue squadron was wicked. In fact, rogue squadron was like they took that old flying game, fox wings or some crap, and just put tie figthers and star wars ships in it. way awesome!

Some nice photos in there indeed. I have a 1974 Luke Skywalker figurine in a Stormtrooper outfit. I used to have a decent collection, I should dig it out of my parent's place.

i have some other really cool signed stuff as well but they are hanging all over walls and on cabinets and stuff. bit too hard to move around. avid collectable fan though.

some of the other bits i have are:

a big montage of picture of the joker from dark knight and the middle pic is signed by heath.

a pic on the set of taxi driver of scorsese and denrio that is signed by both of them.

a large 5 pic montage of scarface and the middle one is signed by al pacino.

a small 4 frame film cell of brandon lee from the crow.

this is just random but for my birthday last year i got an advertisement from a 1939 edition of 'The Punch' and the advertisement is for a brand of cigarette and it has a drawing of Hitler smoking a cigarette. Have to share actually.

for christmas just gone my girlfriend got me one of the early detective comics with batman and an old star trek comic. the detective comic is awesome. batman before he was batman and had his own comic. wow!!!!
