I liked the story but the fire fights where a bit lame u just have to run towards ur goal and fire its a bit easy but online is where its at i love it im on everynight to catch as much ozzy hosts as i can get cos during the day its mainly uk or us hosts and it lags like heck then what a great game i recommend it to anyone who loves shooters

The tip with online play is to INVITE other Aussies into a game, or have them INVITE you, but sometimes it still says " unable to connect to the host" ???? i am terrible at this game online!!! its fun though

I've heard the PC version has mad online play + player rewards the more kills u get with a certain weapon etc.. Don't have it yet cos I'm broke but sad to hear the PS3 online is sketchy. Fingers crossed it gets better by the time i can afford it

After playing resistance, I was expecting COD 4 to be as good or better. I have to say that I'm not as impressed. I find the sound channel splitting annoying. You can't hear the voices very well sometimes as they come from the back speakers. I have a top notch sound system, so it's not the hardware.

It can get a bit confusing with all the noise on some levels and you can't always make out the enemy. The men on your side are no help, they just get in my way. I prefer a solo effort.....like Rambo!

The thing I liked about resistance was it was a simple concept. You vs Aliens. and you could easily identify them through the game. I liked the quiet moments in the FOM game where you walk through and get surprised by aliens.

Too much going on in COD4.

Maybe war games is not my thing.......

Hanging out for Resistance 2.

Really, all it comes down to is if you have a ps3 you have this game. If you have a ps3 but dont have the game, get rid of your ps3 kooz you dont deserve it. IF YOU DONT HAVE THE GAME, BUY IT. IT IS WORTH IT!

i somewhat did not enjoy this game as much as i enjoyed Battlefield: Bad Company. i think its cause BF:BC allows tanks and helis and deformable environments.

but still CoD4 is very enjoyable.

hay prob the same way i got mine for free find a mate/buddy that has them and get there account info (with there say so!!) and download it from there psn store you can do this up to 5 buddies p.s don't know for the maps but for other content like pain, ect you need to keep the user on the ps3 so just find a good mate and do wot i do give them yore login id (E-Mail) and a password just for them and when you buy some think they would like just change yer pass to the one you gave them when thay have got it chaing it back then thay have it and have yer account but you still have controle of it and get them to do the same them you just take it in terns to buy stuff in set amount (i use £10 then swich)
