I think the new feature in FIFA 08 'Be a Pro' mode, is going to be very interesting as it's the first step towards controlling one player so that 11 vs 11 can happen online sometime in the future. Certainly looking forward to this game.

I sure hope so, I still play people online on my psp (fifa 06!) and i still love that. I hope they do else it would be a bit disapointing like Virtua Tennis 3 Great game but the online wasn't there so it wasn't a 10/10 in my review

Don't worry guys EA aren't tightasses like Sega is with their online play!!!

Plus those screenshots are outdated now cause Klose and Ribery Joined Bayern and Malouda joined Chelsea!!!

All I can say is forget Halo 3 man i'm gonna be kicking goals in FIFA 08!!!

FIFA 08 comes out 2 days after Halo 3 but I get a feeling they gonna break the street date anyway!!!

Antman just to clear it up - yes definately the Australian release date.
i think it gets launched in Europe over the weekend to tie in with the European soccer kick off as Bev stated the Preimier league kicks off this w/end.

i heard ea sports are trying to develop online play where 11 players each control their own player to make up a real time team. so in theory you could have 11 vs 11 online in a real time game/ could team up with your mates and take on the world- now that would be awesome!
