After relevations of a 160gb PS3 Slim being placed on retail online store in the U.S. (Gamestop.com), now another retail source also claims that a 320gb sku exist and will be sold alongside the 160gb.
Although these higher HDD models have already been released in Japan late last month, it's almost now confirmed that the rest of the world will start to see them on the shelve to replace the current models that are being phased out.
Apart from the increase in storage in the HDD, both the 160gb and 320gb models will also permanently obtain a smaller RSX Graphic chip which will replace the 45nm version. It will now have a 40nm chip that allows for better effiency and less power consumption.
Best of all, it's also rumoured that there may be a price drop with the current 250gb sku PS3 Slim. It will incur a US$50 price drop to help reduce it's stock and make room for the upgraded models.
We should expect these new models to be release in the US in the next few weeks, followed by the PAL region.
