Treyarch has posted a new job advert on its website, alluding that it is looking to bring Call of Duty: Black Ops to a "new console".
"Treyarch is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for a position on the team bringing our hugely successful game to a new console."
That sounds like Black Ops 2 is on the way, but for what console?
With Vita and Wii U out over the next 12-14 months, and with the inevitable Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 successors yet to be revealed, the developer's job search definitely raises a few questions.
It may be that Black Ops in its current form is heading to Wii U, which would follow the tradition of current-gen consoles being announced for Nintendo's Wii successor, despite the fact the console isn't set for release until 2012.
