Update: As a gesture of goodwill, Dick Smith is offering 30% off all games and accessories until Sunday.
"Due to the unauthorised leaking of an internal price list last week, our Game On Sale has exceeded expectations," said an official statement.
"As our Game On Sale continues this week, we would like to inform our customers that stock is selling faster than expected. We thank you for your patience and continued support and apologise for any inconvenience caused. As a gesture of goodwill in addition to the Game on Sale event we will now be offering extend the offer to include 30% off gaming software and accessories until Sunday 15 April. Please note that this excludes all gaming consoles, digital cards & already advertised catalogue lines in our Game On brochure."
Original Story: After the shambles of last week's "unadvertised" Dick Smith $7 million gaming clearance non-sale, Dick is trying again, with a slightly more legit attempt beginning this morning.
Stock is still extremely limited, but some of it has been promoted in this week's catalogue.
The unbelievable deals of last week, which turned out to be too good to be true, are a hazy memory at best. There's no $100 Xbox or $40 PSP.
However, DSi consoles are going for $40, if you're lucky enough to find stock.
Meanwhile, Ubisoft Classics are down to just $1, and Fifa 10 is only asking for a gold coin donation.
