E3 2009: Final Fantasy VII on PS Store

During their E3 2009 keynote speech, Sony announced that Final Fantasy VII is now available for download on the Playstation Store. No word on whether it is available outside the US just yet.

Sony also confirmed that 50+ Playstation 1 classics will be hitting the PS Store in 2009.

FF VII has been heavily demanded as an available game on the store, with some fans even still anticipating (and hoping) for a remake of the highly critically successful title. Hopefully the title is also available for download outside of the US.

Sweeeeeeet, although have had this on my PSP for over a year, but will be good to replay on my PS3. Although this is good, it probably means that there is zero chance of a Final Fantasy VII remake anytime soon.

Cause the PS1 games are 4:3 aspect ratio & not full screen, to 16:9 on a HDTV.

Wow only $10 US, good thats good value considering the game took me like 70 odd hours to get through on a fairly rushed play through.
