Ubisoft registers 'Rayman Legends' domain

Following the Rayman Origins sequel being all but officially announced earlier this week, Ubisoft has registered some mysterious new URLs.

They've secured both RaymanLegends.com and Rayman-Legends.com.

The new domains were spotted by Fusible, who link it with speculation that Ubisoft is planning to launch a 2D side-scrolling Rayman game with the Wii U later this year.

I think you need to adjust the title of news article before users start thinking that EA bought the Rayman rights from Ubisoft and subsequently ruining it.

Rayman Origins was so amazing. So different to anything that was on the market at the time. It is the most beautiful game I have ever played. Can't wait for this!

It seems that it will still be on other consoles but the Wii U will have special features which include putting figures on the device which appears and helps you in-game. The trailer features people putting a heart, a rabbid and even an Ezio figure onto the device! With the Wii U it seems that someone can move the environment to help navigate your way through levels!
