As previously rumoured, Fallout 3 has been refused classification by the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC)
This will effectively ban the title and make it unable to be Advertised, sold, hired or demonstrated in Australia. This will come as a major blow to fans eagerly awaiting the games release. It also comes on the heels of the controversy over the editing of the Australian version of GTA IV. Which had some scenes removed and other changes so that it could fit in the MA 15+ rating. Which is Australia's highest Classification label for gaming software.
If your looking forward to the game and it isn’t edited for re-classification your only option will be to import it from online retailers
