Far Cry 3 is backwards in Australia or the UK

We share a lot of things in common with our UK-based friends. A language. A queen. Convicts. Pal video games. But one of us has it backwards when it comes to Far Cry 3.

The Australian and European box arts have been released by Ubisoft and, to the surprise of the internet, it's exactly the same, only mirrored.

Why would they bother doing this? Because we have the technology, probably. We also have a massive, colourful, classification logo which would have obstructed that poor chap's head.

Ours looks better anyway. I always draw (thing that vaguely resemble) people from that perspective. The other way looks weird.

That look of the rating is god awful. They can angle the cover as many times as they want, that rating ruins the art.

Our way is flipped. checked out the NTSC cover and it's the same as the UK. i agree that ours looks much better though

The UK version looks a lot better, just because they don't have an ugly yellow rectangle that seems like it's getting shoved into your face.

We're not that right, we just elected two consecutive Labor governments. Actually we're very centrist compared to the rest of the world, both major parties.
