The keen eyes over at Joystiq have found something that the rest of us probably wouldn't have seen for months. According to the rolling information bar at the bottom of the screen in the main menu free downloadable content for Batman: Arkham Asylum the will be released in 9 days.

At this stage we, nor (seemingly) anyone else, knows what this free DLC entails. Chances are it'll be something small, but kudos to yet another developer releasing DLC while the game is still in our consoles, and free DLC at that!

Two More DLC Packs Coming For Batman Arkham Asylum

Mike Kebby has posted an update on the EU Playstation Blog: two dlc are coming for Batman Arkham Asylum.
"Insane Night" on the 17th of September (Free)
"Prey in the Darkness" on the 24th of September (Free)

"The two additional packs are coming in the next two weeks, one per week (Insane Night 17th Sept and Prey In The Darkness 24th Sept)".
