Rockstar Games today confirmed that Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City is coming to PlayStation 3 and Games for Windows on March 30, 2010.

The two, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, will also be available for download on the PlayStationNetwork and Games for Windows - LIVE on March 30, 2010. Games for Windows - LIVE players will be able to engage in 32-player multiplayer matches and use an advanced video editor.

I know... I'm so pissed off with Rockstar at the moment, I bought this when it first came out, and have just started playing it on 360 and BAM! It's coming to PS3... lame. Looks like I'll be getting rid of my 360 version for this then... god dammit. Thanks Rockstar: you just cost me more money... probably $10-20 but its still dollars I didnt have to spend if they annouced this 2-3 months ago.

LOL the graphics in LatD had a film grain effect added which you could have switched off. Both expansions look the same as GTAIV which in turn has a higher resolution and better textures on 360.

To be honest im more happy this is coming to PC.

But completing all missions, collecting money ect.. only to start a new game will suck, if only you could take your cash and items to your new game.

But it's 2 different stories where you play as a new character in each story. Also the stories intertwine with the GTA IV story so it's like all 3 stories are occurring at the same time in the same city, therefore any money you had earned at the end of GTA IV was Niko's money and since you don't play as Niko in TLaD or TBoGT it wouldn't make any sense to have Niko's money

The GAME store I visited reckons Sony splashed a lot of cash to get Episodes from Liberty City onto PS3.

I don't think so. If Sony wanted to splash cash, they would've splashed at the same time (or before) Microsoft did.

I reckon the timed exclusivity contract with Microsoft had expired, and it was time it went multiplatform, which I'm sure Rockstar always wanted.

the only thing I'm worried about is the multiplayer trophies, I crossing my fingers that there wont be a trophy similar to the wanted trophy.

I've only got 1.2 million left to grind. I hoping to plat this game before the DLC comes out in march.

Have a look dude! Gay Tony has an achievement which requires you to 100% each mission.

There are set requirements per mission like number of headshots, damage taken, time. I seriously can't be bothered.

Second or third mission requires you to get like 20 headshot kills, and also requires you to finish the entire mission within x number of minutes to 100% it.

There's no platinum trophy for TL&D or TBoGT (I don't expect there to be, it's like Burnout Paradise DLC) ... so quite frankly, I can't be bothered with the additional bronze/silver trophies. Maybe 1 or 2 golds as well.
