A teenager in Lewisville, Texas, was playing a casual game of Call of Duty: Black Ops when a wild troll appeared and started threatening him. What happened next is truly one for the forum archives.
“Some dude just popped out of nowhere, and basically said he's going to hack me, he's going to get my information, call the swat team over to my front yard," said the teenager.
Like anyone else in the world that has dealt with an online troll, the teenager ignored the threats and continued playing.
Unfortunately, the troll seems to have taken things a step further.
About 20 minutes later a Lewisville operator received a message saying someone had been shot at the teenager's house.
Before long police had surrounded the house and S.W.A.T. was preparing to engage. The teenager was shocked to suddenly hear his name being called out on a bullhorn.
"We were all scared, out of our minds," the teen said. "Didn't understand why they were here. We thought there was some stranger some dude running around our house, hiding behind the boat. We didn't know. We didn't expect nothing."
Police are currently investigating the matter.
Moral of the story? Don't take drugs. Or don't play COD. Whatever!
