Konami has revealed the first details for PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) 2013, including its endorsement by Cristiano Ronaldo.
By returning to its roots, Konami claims PES 2013 will be the "most faithful recreation of modern day football to date," with players and strategy designed to recreate their real-life counterparts.
The three new elements that will make or break PES 2013 are PES FullControl, Player ID, and ProActive AI. Read more about each here.
As well as skill, and the option for gamers to play their chosen brand of football soccer, PES 2013 will include a greater focus on connectivity and atmosphere. The myPES application will connect players through the glorious world that is Facebook, while the in-game sights and sounds will better replicate real-world action.
"This is an exciting time to be part of the PES community, and PES 2013 marks a new level of playability with the return to our key ethos of utter control and freedom," commented Jon Murphy, European PES Team Leader. "Football is all about making magic happen with skill and precision, and PES 2013 truly encapsulates this. Fresh faces within the development team and some very exciting ideas will breathe new life into the PES series, and we look forward to showing what we can do in the coming months."
PES 2013 is heading to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC, 3DS, Wii, PlayStation 2 and PSP later this year.
