Sony will release a large update for the PlayStation Vita
"in summer" (winter for Australia), unlocking PS One Classics compatibility for the handheld following its announcement of the feature.
The company revealed that 60 new games would be coming to Vita in 2012, although it's unclear if that figure includes PS One Classics titles.
The firmware update will allow gamers to play titles like Final Fantasy VII, Crash Bandicoot, and Resident Evil Director’s Cut on their powerful handheld.
