Rumours of a premium version of Battlefield 3's Battlelog service have been circling for a while now, but our friends at
VG247 have spotted retail listings for the unannounced service.
Spotted on British and Danish Coolshop sites, the premium version of Battlelog will cost
£35
($55), giving you the Back to Karkand map pack, early access to upcoming DLC, bonus dog tags, camo patterns and more.
There have also been whispers that DICE are planning to release a previously unannounced DLC pack called Aftermath, slotting in before the previously announced End Game DLC. Word on the street is that the premium Battlelog subscription will bring players 20 new maps, 20 new weapons, more than 10 new vehicles, 4 new game modes, 30 assignments and more than 20 new dog tags.
That's a whole lot of content! The first DLC pack for Battlefield 3, Close Quarters, is slated for a June release. With E3 right around the corner, we can expect confirmation on a premium Battlelog service, along with some release dates for the other DLC packs that DICE have in the pipeline.
