Quantic Dreams has officially revealed its heavily-rumoured follow-up to Heavy Rain, a new character-driven experience called 'Beyond'.
The game will be narrative-based, "growing, evolving, experience" and will use motion-capture actors for realistic character animations. The game will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive.
"For the first time we will step away from the character to really learn about them," said David Cage.
"We will live a life through happy times, sad times, and shape the character until the very end."
Hollywood actress Ellen Page will the character "Jodie Holmes".
The developer’s previous PlayStation 3 project was a critical success and a hit with gamers, making Quantic Dreams hot property for Sony and the studio’s boss, David Cage, one of the most respected figures in the industry.
