Skyrim played on PS Vita

Sony is sitting on a potential goldmine with its Remote Play feature on PlayStation Vita.

A number of videos have popped up online showcasing the feature in action, playing some of the most visually impressive PS3 games directly on the PS Vita's small, but beautiful, screen.

The latest video shows the 2011 epic, Skyrim, played on Vita at "26-33fps at 95% quality", according to YouTube user Eyepatchcars.

"You can see how it runs, but a control scheme needs to be figured out as the mouse control stick does not move the view in realtime," says the video description.

great feature for those who own a vita especially now that the vita has a better control scheme over the psp. Love to see this extended to other devices as long as those other devices supportexternal gamepads etc, the sony tablet would be a great start.

On another note, I know people keep talking about samsung at least in the android sphere when it comes to smartphones but I honestly believe that if Sony get it right, they will have a greater integration into their other platforms.

I think this is something Microsoft is expanding into with their smartglass but it involves any device - android, windows etc.

oh YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH??!?! [MOG] I considered getting one but haven't found a huge use for it yet. Not enough storage among other things to completely replace the netbook I use when I travel overseas and need more power I've got my laptop which has a reliable amount of battery life (5 hours) for the power it packs.

I know they've got some remote access to their TV's etc and the Android playstation gaming stuff but I think they need to go further with this or they'll lag behind their competition when really they shouldn't have to. I think there's a lot of good stuff coming out of sony soon.
