Twisted Metal development issues surface

Twisted Metal creator David Jaffe doesn't like his job very much, if his latest series of Tweets are anything to go by.

Jaffe's comments allude to issues surrounding the development of Twisted Metal, as opposition surrounding the title begins to surface.

In the Tweets Jaffe said: "Managed to avoid the politics of work life for almost 20 years. I just always focused on the work. Not sure if it's because games are getting so expensive or the economy is so bad that people are more scared- and thus most desperate than ever- to keep their jobs but MAN I've never actually noticed the politics and backstabbing and bulls--- of certain types before until the last three months."

He went on: "I will say this; I don't ****ing like it and I choose not to play. Live or die by the work only. The rest is just scared people in the wrong line of work."

This sounds like Jaffe criticising those that are cautious of Twisted Metal's ability to sell. Hopefully this tension doesn't compromise the game's development -- a new Twister Metal is need, stat!

twisted metal was awesome. It'll sell if it sticks to its roots.

at least he's not clueless anymore. Maybe he's got given a little more responsibility than what he is use to. I dont really know who the guy is but whatever. haha!

working for a smaller company is much different to reporting to a dozen or so more people who all have differing opinions.
I'll be buying it & i'm sure over the Oct-Dec months it will move it's fair share of copies.

Jaffe's a guy who really cares about his work & he desperately wants this reboot to be successful, I hope he gets his wish the current gen needs more Twisted Metal :D
I can not wait for this title [Derp]

But to be brutally honest, i can't see it selling all too well. It'll have its moment over in America, maybe but elsewhere nah i just can't see it.

Don't get me wrong though i WANT this title to sell
if twisted metal really hits off..
i wont be surprised (:

although they do ruin all remake titles -.-
*cough* duke nukem forever. [Rage]
