Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag confirmed

Ubisoft has confirmed Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag after "the Internet" figured it out earlier this week -- following US press being shown the game on Monday.

"We confirm that Ubisoft will announce all the details of Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag on Monday March 4th at 5pm GMT," said a Ubisoft statement (Tuesday in Australia).

Starring a new pirate assassin, Black Flag is set in the Caribbean and believed to take place in 1715.

Ubisoft has confirmed the game is heading to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC. The PS3 version will include an hour of exclusive gameplay.

Hopefully the Wii U will get the collectors edition this time!!! I waited the extra month for the wii u version, but was disappointed it didnt have the freedom edition. Otherwise ill just have to get the 360 version :P

Oh he's not dead. people are just assuming that it is but its hardly locked in. The magical machine just "sucked the life out of him". Any form of Deus Ex Machina would bring him back to life so easily and believably.

I'm just peeved at Ubisoft. Assassins Creed 4 should be Desmonds game, set in a post apocalyptic world. I'd be so happy if this were "Assassins Creed: Black Flag" but its not. Its "Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag". New number, new character. I wish this were a spin off like Liberation.
