Rocksteady Studios' best Batman game to date,
Batman Arkham City, will be releasing the
Game of the Year' (GOTY) edition on
August 24th.
Warner Bros. had released Batman Arkham City worldwide back in October 2011 (for console versions) which was well received both critically and also by gamers and fans. A well deserved GOTY edition was released in North America in late May and now the PAL regions will be receiving theirs very soon.
The GOTY edition consists of the main game and the previous DLCs on the disc itself, these will include the Catwoman Pack, Nightwing Bundle Pack, Robin Bundle Pack, Challenge Map Pack and Arkham City Skins Pack.
Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition packages the following contents;
Maps: Wayne Manor, Main Hall, Freight Train, Black Mask, The Joker’s Carnival, Iceberg Long, and Batcave.
Playable Characters: Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing.
Skins: 1970s Batsuit, Year One Batman, The Dark Knight Returns, Earth One Batman, Batman Beyond Batman, Animated Batman, Sinestro Corps Batman, Long Hallowe’en Catwoman, Animated Catwoman, Animated Robin, Red Robin and Animated Nightwing.
All these goodies for a mere $50 when it
ka-pows into your local gaming stores.
With such a great game and package, Warner Bros. deemed it not worthy of a decent box art cover at the least?
