Borderlands 2 will let you turn off gore

Borderlands 2

Borderlands 2, the highly anticipated RPG-shooter from Gearbox, will have a gore toggle to remove all blood and gore from the game.

The developer revealed the feature today, saying: "With a single button press, you can turn Borderlands [into] a less violent experience!"

The game will also be released uncut in Australia, putting to rest concerns that the game would be edited or, worse still, banned entirely.

Borderlands 2 is set for release on September 21 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
