Four new screenshots showing off the 'Canyon' environment which were first seen in the E3 demo, leaked today. These appeared on the blog of a senior lighting artist Pierre-Yves Donzallaz, who shortly afterwards took them off.
According to Donzallaz the lighting and effects shown in these images are running in real time. Without much guesswork we can hypothesize that these images have been taken from the PC, given the level of detail. This again shows Crytek's Cry-engine 3 has not had its last words yet.
Lets just hope the detail of Crysis 3's environments live up to the beauty displayed in these screenshots. Crysis 3 is set to launch on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in February 2013.
