'Day of cease fire' for Sandy Hook tragedy

Thousands of gamers have joined forces to "cease fire" and stop playing online games for 24 hours out of respect for those that lost their lives at Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday.

"We are simply making a statement that we as gamers are not going to sit back and ignore the lives that were lost. Instead we will embace the families with our love and support," said GamerFitNation's Antwand Pearman, who is organising the event.
