Rockstar Games is readying the servers as it prepares to launch GTA Online on October 1.
Rockstar Games has acknowledged that “plenty of issues are bound to occur” when millions of gamers transcend on the online game world. These issues are related to server strain, as many of us have experienced with the iFruit and Social Club issues that have plagued GTA V's’s launch.
"The first couple of weeks we expect to be heavily focused on tuning the experience as it goes from internal testing to the reality of being played by tons of people in the real world so that all the usual teething problems for an online game are overcome. We hope it will all run incredibly smoothly, but please bear with us if it doesn't, and help us fix any and all problems," Rockstar Games said in an official statement.
Thankfully in anticipation of the launch, Rockstar Games wants players to contact them directly with any feedback they have. You can contact them at GTAOnline@rockstargames.com.
