Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance delayed in Australia

As some keen forum members noticed last week, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has been delayed in Australia until February 26.

It was scheduled to be released this Thursday, alongside Crysis 3.

The delay is due to unforeseen shipping issues. However, you can totally win a copy on PS3 or Xbox 360.

"Unfortunately due to a last minute shipping delay, the Australian and New Zealand release of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be delayed by a few days to the 26th of February," a spokesperson for Mindscape, the game's Australian distributor, told MMGN.

"As gamers ourselves, we’re committed to ensuring that Australian release dates align with global launches and we’re working hard to ensure that this problem doesn't occur in the future."

In good news, we've already finished it. Assuming nothing goes horribly wrong, look for our review around 7pm tonight.

We get alot of games before they hit shelves worldwide, angry over a delay that isnt even a week seems a bit silly

Yeah same, I have had to re start a few times and been sick the last couple of days so i'm hoping to get through it before metal gear. I kinda see this as a bonus really, as much as I wanted to play it asap!!
